Schlossberg Design Atelier
Our designers use a wide variety of colours and shapes, as well as different styles and techniques. Two of the most frequently used techniques are watercolour and acrylic painting. In addition to these two, a huge range of coloured pencils and pencils are also frequently used. Designs that are not printed but colourfully woven are also painted by hand using one of these techniques. It can take several months from the initial research and sketches to the hand-painted originals before the digital templates are ready for colour matching in the print shop. Even here, careful checks and changes are made before the imaginative motifs are brought to life with perfection and attention to detail and immortalised on velvety soft satin or Swiss jersey.
