At Schlossberg, we strive to combine the most natural materials with innovative textile techniques to develop high-quality fabrics that feel perfect against your skin and create a unique moment of well-being as you sleep.
Bed linen qualities
with significant differences
You probably have already read a few different terms in connection with bed linen and its qualities: Sateen, jersey, Egyptian cotton, linen or jacquard, to name just a few examples.
It can be somewhat confusing that quality does not necessarily mean the composition of the yarn, but often the weaving technique - i.e. how the yarn was processed into a fabric. For example, the best-known quality of sateen is not a specific material, but a technique for weaving this naturally shiny, cool fabric. The material used can be cotton, viscose, polyester or linen. Schlossberg only uses natural raw materials.
At Schlossberg, we mainly use long-staple cotton fibers, i.e. cotton with the longest possible fibers and high purity. This allows us to produce particularly fine and uniform yarns. This is a rather rare quality feature among most bed linen manufacturers, but it significantly improves the longevity, durability and the unique feel and comfort on your skin.
If you are looking for bed linen, you should make sure that the composition of the material also meets your expectations. This is where the actual quality of bed linen becomes apparent - bed linen made from cheap raw materials is available at a low price, but high-quality bed linen can easily cost ten times as much. See for yourself and experience this unique, incomparable moment of well-being with Schlossberg bed linen - you will feel the significant difference and will never want to do without it again.
At Schlossberg, you will find a total of ten different bed linen qualities, most of which are made of cotton and some of which are also made of linen, micromodal or TencelTM Lyocell. Compare the different fabric qualities with their properties and find the right bed linen quality for every season, every sleeping preference and every occasion.
I like it:
Flannel and Jersey
For cozy, warm winter nights.
Sateen and Poplin
For breezy, light summer nights.
Do you know the difference
between sateen and jersey?
Sateen refers to the weave of the warp and weft threads of a fabric and not, as is often assumed, the material. This so-called sateen weave gives our bed linen a natural-looking sheen and a very pleasant, silky surface.
Unlike sateen or jacquard fabrics, jersey is not woven but knitted. This airy knit makes jersey bed linen made from our quality cotton slightly stretchy, particularly soft to the touch and non-iron.
Seersucker and Linen
Natural temperature balance for every night.
Jacquard and Micromodal
Luxurious shine effects for royal nights.
Percale and Percale Cozy
A unique sleeping experience all year round.
